Minority Student Association to Sponsor Cultural Talent Show and Food Fair Nov. 10; Entrants Sought

SHREVEPORT, LA — Student acts and food from area ethnic restaurants will be the highlights Thursday, Nov. 10 when the Centenary College Minority Student Association presents its Cultural Talent Show and Food Fair.

The event, which is free and open to Centenary students, will begin at 9 p.m. that day in the Kilpatrick Auditorium. It is part of the Residence Hall Association's week-long observance of Diversity Week.

Organizers are seeking acts, including bands, singers, dancers or anyone with a talent to be showcased. Those interested in performing should contact Talicia Johnson at 318-869-5351 or tjohnson@centenary.edu. Entrants will be eligible to compete for several cash prizes. The deadline to sign-up is Monday, Nov. 7.
