Jones, a 1992 Centenary graduate who is the senior pastor at Peaceful
Rest Baptist Church in Shreveport. Rev. Jones led the opening and
closing prayers for the convocation. |

a song often referred to as the black national anthem. |
Senior Darrius Hills of Alexandria, La., shared his reflections on
Dr. King and the relevance of his message even in today's society. |
