SHREVEPORT, LA — The men of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity of Centenary College will host their third annual TKE Poker Tournament benefiting the Ronald and Nancy Reagan Research Institute for Alzheimers Research.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 10, in the Centenary Fitness Center. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $8 from any member of Tau Kappa Epsilon or for $10 at the door, with buybacks costing $10. Registration starts at 11 a.m. and lunch will be served by Smokey Bones Barbeque. Official play will start at 1 p.m. and will continue until a winner is declared.

Drawings for door prizes will occur periodically throughout the tournament. The tournament winner will be awarded a grand prize and additional prizes will be awarded to two runners-up.

The Ronald and Nancy Reagan Research Institute is Tau Kappa Epsilon's official philanthropy that raises funds to promote awareness for the Alzheimer's Foundation. Founded in 1995, the Institute has raised over $1 million for research. TKE's Centenary chapter has raised $2,500 over the past two years to benefit the philanthropy.
