Interactive Brain- and Neuroscience-Related Activities Set for March 13-14 at Centenary College
SHREVEPORT, LA — Next week is Brain Awareness Week and a group of Centenary College faculty and students will be doing their part to promote it.
The Centenary Biology Department is sponsoring a set of interactive brain and neuroscience-related activities created by Centenary students from 3 to 5 p.m. March 13 and 14 in the Moore Student Union Building.
The activities will be open for public viewing at no charge. Organizers note that free brains — actually brain erasers — will be given to each participant while supplies last.
In addition, displays of student-created brain models and microscopy prints will be presented inside Magale Library March 12-31 and "Brain Bytes" will be announced periodically on the campus radio station, KSCL 91.3 FM.
