SHREVEPORT, LA — Internationally recognized photographer Joyce Wilson will be speaking and showing images of her work at Centenary College on Tuesday, March 27 at 7 p.m. in Jackson Hall, Room 304.

The title of her presentation will be "The Art of Fine Art Photography."

Wilson, of Santa Barbara, Calif., is an instructor at the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, specializing in portraiture and figure studies. A fellow of the American Society of Photographers, Wilson has also received the Leadership Award from the International Photographic Council and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Professional Photographers of America.

Having studied with Arnold Newman, Ruth Bernhard and Sara Moon, and having presented numerous workshops and lectures throughout the United States and Europe, Wilson brings a wide range of photographic experiences — both in the studio and in the classroom — to her visit at Centenary.
