Centenary College Launches Louisiana Live Your Dream!
SHREVEPORT, La.—Centenary College is pleased to announce the Louisiana Live Your Dream program. We are celebrating our rich history in Louisiana by offering to pay the tuition and student fees for all Louisiana residents eligible for a Federal Pell Grant who enter Centenary for the first time in Fall 2008 as a full-time student.
"In 2008, Centenary College celebrates 100 years in the Shreveport/Bossier area," said Kenneth L. Schwab, Centenary College President. "Centenary grew out of combining The College of Louisiana in Jackson, Louisiana, and Centenary College of Brandon Springs, Mississippi, to form a premier liberal arts college that would be accessible to families in the state of Louisiana. And while the College now serves students from 36 states and 14 countries, we are pleased that the Louisiana Live Your Dream program means we will open our doors even wider to our own Louisiana students."
For Pell eligible Louisiana students, Centenary College will combine financial aid from federal, state and institutional sources to equal the cost of tuition and student fees.

"This is part of Centenary's ongoing commitment to make college affordable for students and their families," said Provost Darrel Colson, "and why Centenary previously launched CAP (Centenary Affordability Program) and the Campaign for Scholarships."
Tim Crowley, Dean of Admissions, said that he plans to share information with guidance counselors, principals, youth leaders, and families throughout the state of Louisiana.
