Ladies Score Well; LSU Takes the Victory

SHREVEPORT, La. — The Centenary gymnastics team scored its highest team score of the season with a 193.125 on Sunday in the Gold Dome. The team is peaking at the right time with the Midwest Independent Championships just two meets away. However, their score was not enough to defeat the No. 8 LSU Tigers, who posted a team effort of 197.050.

Centenary receives a weekend off next week before traveling to Texas Woman's University for a 7 p.m. meet on Friday, March 14th. The team will be back in action at the Gold Dome, Sunday, March 16 against Kentucky and Friday, March 28 for the Midwest Independent Championships.
