Centenary College's KSCL 91.3 FM Begins Summer Broadcasting Season

Centenary's student-operated radio station KSCL 91.3 FM began its summer broadcasting season June 1, 2008. The station has 35 volunteer DJ's doing a total of 30 shows per week. Among the volunteers are many students, community members and faculty members of Centenary College such as Michael Laffey and April Valentine. Centenary Alumni John Mark Wilcox and Sarah Smith are also broadcasting their own radio shows this summer. A myriad of music genre is being broadcast for a variety of tastes and interests. KSCL 91.3 FM has shows that focus on Classic Blues, Indie Rock, World Music, or Psychedelic Electronica. KSCL Music Director Zakk Owens and DJ Cazes Verbois are now hosting a new program to showcase the station's weekly Top 30 albums.
