Candlelight Service Takes Place Friday, Dec. 5 in Brown Memorial Chapel

SHREVEPORT, La.— Centenary College will share an annual Christmas tradition with the community on Friday, Dec. 5, when it presents its Christmas Candlelight Celebration, a program of readings, prayer, music, song and candle lighting in Brown Memorial Chapel. The program is free and open to the public with the service beginning at 6 p.m. 



The service highlights the musical talents of Centenary's choirs, with music provided by the Centenary Camerata and Chorale singers, under the direction of Dr. Julia B. Thorn; the Centenary College Choir, directed by David Hobson; and the Centenary Brass Quintet. An Advent message will be presented by the Reverend Betsy Eaves, Chaplain of Centenary College.
