Ladies and Gents Head Into Busy Sports Weekend

Shreveport, La.—The Gold Dome and athletic fields will come alive with different sporting events Feb. 6 through 8 when the Ladies and Gents will compete in softball, gymnastics and club lacrosse.

Scholar\'s Weekend

The Ladies will compete in the Centenary Softball Tournament beginning Friday, Feb. 6 and will take on Cougars from Southern Illinois University at 9:30 a.m. The schedule for the Ladies softball tournament is:

Friday, Feb. 6
Ladies vs Southern Illinois University...........9:30 a.m.
Ladies vs Boston College.........................3:30 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 7
Ladies vs Missouri State.........................3:30 p.m.
Ladies vs Bryant University......................5:30 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 8
Ladies vs Nicholls State.........................1:30 p.m.

The Ladies Gymnastics Team springs into action, Friday, Feb. 6 when they take on the Falcons from the Air Force Academy. The action takes place at the Gold Dome beginning at 7 p.m.

The men's club Lacrosse team begins their season Saturday, Feb. 7 when they will battle the Tigers from LSU. Play takes place at Mayo Field beginning at 1 p.m. The team will then take on The Green Wave of Tulane University, Sunday, Feb. 8 beginning at 2 p.m. at Mayo Field.
