Graduate Theological Studies Offers History of Christian Thought & Practice May 18-29

SHREVEPORT, La. — The Christian Leadership Center in cooperation with Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, will offer the History of Christian Thought & Practice I, May 18-29 at Centenary College.

The class will take place daily from 8 a.m. until noon with on-campus housing available for out-of-town students. Registration deadline is May 4.

The two-week course is provided through the Graduate Theological Studies program. The program offers graduate-level courses that will satisfy basic graduate theological study requirements. Courses are taught in a variety of formats and utilize state-of-the-art simulcast technology equipment or visiting professors.

Through this program, students can receive up to 29 graduate credit hours on Centenary's campus and complete the courses offered on a two-three year rotational basis. These courses benefit those seeking ordination as a deacon in the United Methodist Church, certification, completion of core requirements for a masters degree, growth in ministry and graduate-level experience.
