Rummage Sale Takes Place August 1 to Support Mission Trips

SHREVEPORT, La— The Christian Leadership Center will sponsor a Rummage Sale, Saturday, August 1 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. in Kilpatrick Auditorium, located on the corner of East Kings Highway and Woodlawn Ave.

The proceeds from the annual sale will help defray the costs for mission trips for Centenary students to Mount Sequoyah, Ark., and to the Bahamas.

Patrons will find an assortment of dormitory furniture, clothing, televisions, baby items, car seats, books and much more.

The Christian Leadership Center promotes local and short-term mission opportunities for students, alumni, and friends of the college. Mission trips are grounded in biblical study, integrated with theological discussion and reflection, and open to Centenary students and adults. Past mission experiences have included travel to Belize, Mexico, New Orleans, and the Navajo Nations in Arizona.
