Memorial Fund Established for Family of Former Dean

SHREVEPORT, La. — Centenary College of Louisiana has established a special fund for the family of former Dean of Students David Womack who died suddenly and unexpectedly on August 29.

The David Womack Family Fund will be used to help assist family members with the costs of raising a special-needs child, including the medical and insurance costs associated with those needs.

Womack had held the position of Dean of Students and had been at Centenary since September 2008. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Henning, and his four children, Donovan, Tyler, Mason and Landon. Womack was 49.
