Centenary College Names New Vice President of Enrollment Services

SHREVEPORT, La.-Centenary College of Louisiana has appointed Dave Voskuil as the vice president of enrollment services. His first official day with be Tuesday, Feb 1, 2010.

"Dave joins us with more than three decades of higher education leadership experience, including 20 years of serving as the vice president for enrollment management at four different United Methodist institutions," said David Rowe, President of Centenary College. "Our enrollment team has made remarkable progress over the past years, and we are confident that with his record of achievement and success he will be able to build on that momentum."

Voskuil started his career in higher education more than 30 years ago as an admission recruiter at Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wis., after graduating from the school with his bachelor's degree in business administration. He has since held positions as admission counselor, director/dean of admissions and student services, associate vice president of admission and financial aid, and vice president for enrollment management.

In his new cabinet-level position at Centenary, Voskuil will provide leadership and develop strategies on all matters related to student enrollment and retention through research and assessment, and collaboration with various campus entities. He will also supervise the areas of admissions and financial aid.

"I am excited to be joining the administrative team at Centenary," said Voskuil. "I can tell there is a great deal of passion and excitement about the future of the College and I look forward to contributing to its many success."

Voskuil is currently the Vice President for Enrollment Management at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas, a position he has held since 2004. He has also held administrative positions at Lon Morris College in Jacksonville, Texas; the United States Sports Academy in Mobile, Ala.; Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth Texas; and North Carolina Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount, N.C.

He and his wife, Helle, have a daughter, Abby; and two sons, Alan and Bryan.
