Golf Coach Talks About Recruiting Process

Emlyn Aubrey, coach of Centenary men's and women's golf teams, took some time recently to answer some questions about golf recruiting for the National Collegiate Scouting Association's Athletic Scholarships and College Recruiting Blog.

About Coach Aubrey

As a member of the PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour since 1990, Aubrey shares a wealth of experience in the professional ranks. He also played on the Asian Tour during '88, '89, and '94. Aubrey turned pro in 1986 after graduating from LSU.

At LSU, Aubrey was an SEC individual champion in 1984 and was also a part of the team championship in 1986. He was also a two-time All-American and finished third at NCAA National Championships in 1986.

As a professional, Aubrey won the Philippine Open in 1989, Indian Open in 1994, Dayton Open in 1994 and Wichita Open in 1998. He also played in five U.S. Opens, one PGA Championship and one British Open.
