College announces Homecoming 2011 schedule of events

"Back to the Future" events run February 3-6

SHREVEPORT, La. (Centenary News Service) — Centenary College of Louisiana will be holding special events, reunions, parade and sporting events during Homecoming Weekend, Thursday, February 3 through Sunday, February 6.

In addition to the traditional Homecoming activities, the four-day event will be packed with opportunities for the community, alumni and friends to learn about the College as we go "Back to the Future," celebrating our past and moving into the future.

Homecoming Week begins with the traditional Morning Call in Bynum Commons, followed by the Annual Founders' Day Convocation, Scholars Legacy Luncheon and Alumni Awards Dinner. Other events include Centenary reunion gatherings, Homecoming Parade and Street Festival, Ladies and Gents basketball, and the traditional Bonfire and gumbo cook-off.
