Regional colleges and universities to host Career Fair April 2

SHREVEPORT, La. (Centenary News Service) — Regional colleges and universities will join forces for the 3rd Annual Louisiana Regional College Career Fair, Saturday, April 2, from noon until 4 p.m. at the Bossier Civic Center.

2011 Career Fair

Centenary College, along with the Career Services offices of Bossier Parish Community College, East Texas Baptist University, Grambling State University, Louisiana Tech, LSU Shreveport, Jarvis Christian College, Northwestern State University, Southern University at Shreveport, University of Louisiana Monroe, LeTourneau University and the University of Phoenix will host the event.

The career fair is open to all college students and alumni from any accredited higher education institution in the United States. Professional attire and a resume are required for admission to this annual event.

During the past two years, the Career Fair has drawn an average of more than 500 students and alumni. Exhibitors will include local, regional, state, federal and graduate schools. Participants will gain knowledge of career opportunities, part-time jobs, internships, full-time jobs and graduate school opportunities.
