Centenary Rummage Sale August 6th to Support Mission Trips

SHREVEPORT, LA — The Centenary College Chaplain's Office will host a Rummage Sale on Saturday, August 6, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. in Haynes Fitness Center located near the corner of East Kings Highway and Woodlawn Avenue. Patrons will find an assortment of furniture, clothing, televisions, books, and much more.

Proceeds from this year's sale will help support upcoming mission trips to New Orleans and the Bahamas. The Christian Leadership Center promotes local, regional, and international mission trips that are grounded in biblical study and integrated with theological discussion and reflection. Mission trips are open to all Centenary students, alumni, and friends who share a desire to be a healing presence in the world.

The Chaplain's Office oversees all religious life on campus and offers many opportunities to explore spirituality. Mission trips are just one of the diverse options offered at Centenary College to engage students in a whole-person educational experience that creates meaningful and sustainable lives.

The Chaplain's Office is accepting donations to the Rummage Sale through Friday, August 5.
