"In the Beginning..." Lecture Series November 14 and December 12
SHREVEPORT, LA — The ongoing Christian Leadership Center Fall lecture series "In the Beginning..." will be wrapping up in the next two months. Led by Dr. Susan Brayford, Professor Emerita of Religious Studies, the series is a community study on stories of origin.

What: "In the Beginning..." Lecture
When: Monday, November 14 and December 12 at 5:30 p.m.
Where: Kilpatrick Auditorium
The cost is $10 per lecture at the door.
The fall series will be followed by the spring "In the End..." series, which focuses on stories of apocalypse. This study will meet on (mostly) second Mondays in Spring 2012 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Kilpatrick Auditorium. Dates: January 9, February 13, March 19 (in March, the series will meet on the third Monday), April 9, May 14. Cost is $10 per lecture at the door, or $40 in advance for all five lectures.
Dr. Brayford taught at Centenary College from 1998 until her retirement in Spring 2011. While at Centenary, she served as assistant and associate professor of the religious studies department, and also served as Associate Dean of the College. She is a former professor at the Iliff School of Theology, the University of Denver, and the University of Colorado.
