"I am excited about becoming a member of the Centenary community," said Curtis. "The quality and commitment of the people that I met during the selection process played a major role in helping to fuel my desire to be at Centenary. I am confident that, with the support of the broader Centenary family, we will be able to achieve great things."

Monty Curtis comes to Centenary with almost three decades of experience in admission, college relations, and enrollment management leadership. Prior to his time at Southwestern, Curtis served five years as the Vice President for Admission and College Relations at Hiram College in Hiram, OH. At Hiram, Curtis was responsible for oversight of college relations and efforts for enhancing the college's visibility.

"We are delighted to welcome Monty to the Centenary community," said Centenary President David Rowe. "He brings experience and knowledge that will help us to continue to forge the way toward consistently strong results in recruitment, retention, and placement. He impressed the faculty members, staff members, students, alumni and trustees who interviewed him during the selection process, as a terrific fit for Centenary."
