This is the first year that Meadows has hosted the Holiday Home tour. The first and second floor galleries will be open to guests, with activities and refreshments available throughout. 2524 Fairfield Avenue
2745 Fairfield Avenue
839 Robinson Place
1053 Boulevard Street
1311 Line Avenue
Tour buses will pick up participants at the museum, and shuttle them to the different locations. Tickets are available for advance purchase online through the Highland Restoration Association or patrons can purchase tickets at the Meadows Museum the night of the event. Tickets are $20 per person for one day. Two-day package deals that include the Sunday afternoon tour are available in advance for a money-saving $35.
The Meadows Museum of Art was established in 1975 at Centenary College of Louisiana to house the Jean Despujols Collection of Painting and Drawings of Indochina. The works were a gift from Centenary alumnus, Algur H. Meadows. Today, the museum hosts exhibitions throughout the calendar year, introducing the Shreveport area to local, national and international art and artists.
