Admission Office hosts Visual Arts Day and Open House January 20-21

SHREVEPORT, LA — The Centenary College Admission Office will host a Performing and Visual Arts Day and general Open House for prospective students on Friday, January 20, and Saturday, January 21.

Centenary Students

Students who are interested in visual or performing arts should join the Admission staff Friday, January 20. Prospective visual arts students will have the chance to meet faculty and current students, sit in on a class, tour Centenary facilities, and audition in their area of interest.

On Saturday, January 21, prospective students will learn about Centenary through a variety of activities:

  • Prospective students and their families will tour the campus.

  • Faculty will talk to prospective students about academic programs, internships, and collaborative research opportunities.

  • Graduates will discuss how their Centenary experience prepared them for graduate school, law school, medical school, employment, public service, and more.

  • Current students will discuss student activities, intramurals, the Greek system, residence life, Centenary Activities Board, and much more.

  • Parents of current students will share their experiences as part of the Centenary family.
