"We encourage Centenary alumni to participate and nominate one of their own for recognition during Homecoming," said Saige Solomon, Director of Alumni and Family Relations. "We appreciate our alumni and the contributions they make not only to Centenary but also to the broader community. Homecoming is the perfect time to celebrate these individuals and let them know that we value their hard work and loyalty."

Alumni can be recognized in areas of leadership, loyalty, or contributions and service to Centenary. Each award contains specific criteria that the nominees must meet to be considered:

The nominee for the Alumni Hall of Fame must be a former student and completed time at Centenary at least ten years prior to award. The recipient also must have made a significant contribution to his or her profession and displayed continued interest in and support of Centenary.

The President of the College and the Director of Alumni and Family Relations select the recipient for the Alumni Loyalty Award. There is no nomination form for this award.

The Athletic Hall of Fame Award is given to a person who was enrolled at the College, worked as a coach, or has given service or support to Centenary athletics. The nominee must have an exemplary record of individual athletic accomplishment, be a supportive team member, and a solid citizen of the Centenary community.

The Honorary Alumnus Award recognizes someone who did not attend the College but whose interest and contributions have enriched Centenary College. The nominee also must have made a distinctive contribution to his or her profession.

The Young Alumni Leadership Award is designated for an alumnus who has been an active Centenary volunteer for the past three years and is 40 years or younger. The recipient of this award must promote Centenary to fellow alumni and be an advocate for the College's mission.
