"Our students have been vital catalysts for Centenary's renewal and reinvigoration," said David Rowe, president of the College. "We want to engage them in the institution's continued transformation by gathering regular feedback on how we can further enhance their overall experience. That is why we are offering these grants exclusively to continuing students."

Centenary students who are pre-registered for 12 or more semester hours for Fall 2012 will be eligible for up to $1,000 per year ($500 per semester). Students who meet the previous requirement and have a housing assignment for Fall 2012 will be eligible for up to $2,500 per year ($1,250 per semester).

"The majority of our students will be eligible to receive funding from the Transformation Grants program," said Monty Curtis, vice president for enrollment services. "Our focus is on providing our students with the tools they need to succeed. We are committed to working with our students to explore a wide range of assistance and financing options for their Centenary education."

Upon submitting the grant application, students will agree to file a Commencement Plan in the semester prior to graduation. This plan will provide feedback to assist the College in supporting students through graduation and beyond.

To be eligible in Fall 2012, students must complete the Transformation Grant application no later than April 16. More information on eligibility and application procedures can be found on the Transformation Grants page.
