Encircle has arrived

SHREVEPORT, LA — Centenary College has released the Spring 2012 issue of Encircle, a new publication that shares stories of graduates, faculty, staff, and students making significant, positive impacts throughout the world. Encircle readers will find the College's alumni and students pioneering and implementing life-saving practices in the health care field, helping to create innovative tools in technology, and doing their part, personally and professionally, to ease the burden of those less fortunate.

"The stories throughout the pages of Encircle capture the impact — both global and local — of the Centenary experience," said Matt Bailey, Senior Director of Marketing & Communication.

Encircle is organized around three global challenges, which were developed and approved by the Centenary faculty as an inquiry and action framework for students. Its articles touch on issues from a variety of perspectives: campus, local, national, and international. The title, Encircle, encapsulates President David Rowe's narrative of Centenary's special responsibility to encircle the world with wise, caring, moral leaders developed to engage the challenges of the 21st century.

In addition, the College has created an expanded alumni newsletter, which will be published for the first time in June 2012, to share traditional alumni news, features, and class notes. The newsletter will be available both in print and online.

If you did not yet receive a copy of Encircle in the mail or would like an extra copy, send an email to email. Encircle is also available in interactive and PDF format online.
