Soffer's paintings are intentionally ambiguous.

"Interpretation is left to the individual viewer," said Soffer. "My intention is that the painting evoke feelings left beind by a dream, an emotion, or a memory without being limited to the specific details of the event itself."

A native of Philadephia, Soffer holds an M.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has been a resident at Ragdale and Skowhegan and was awarded Shreveport Regional Arts Council's Visual Arts Fellowship.

Her work was recently exhibited at Artport in the Shreveport Regional Airport. Prior to that, Soffer held a solo exhibition "Busy Season" had at the Bossier Arts Council's East Bank Gallery.
