The first in a series, this forum will address many topics relevant to living wise fiscally during current economic conditions and will feature two ten-minute presentations. Dr. Harold Christensen, Professor of Economics, will present "Economic Recovery and You," and Dr. Barbara Davis, Professor of Finance, will address "Financial Recovery and You."

"Financial and Economic literacy is critical for our students in this time as they enter the workforce and build their careers," said Dr. Chris Martin, Dean of the Frost School of Business. "The past several years of economic turmoil necessitate a clear understanding of what changes in the market and the economy mean to them personally."

In addition to the two presentations, the forum will also feature a panel discussion entitled "Recovery and You: Life on this Side of The Fiscal Cliff" moderated by Martin. The three Frost faculty panelists, Dr. David Hoaas, Dr. Betsy Rankin, and Lea Stroud, J.D., will take questions from the audience. The panel will address many topics including preparing for retirement, saving adequately, and buying a house in this economy.

The event will be free and open to the public and will offer wine and cheese refreshments.
