Centenary names Executive Vice President and Associate Vice President
SHREVEPORT, LA — Centenary College has appointed Scott Rawles Executive Vice President and Fred Landry Associate Vice President for Advancement.
Centenary Executive Vice President Scott Rawles
"Our focus is to support Centenary's strengths in terms of relationships and build stronger efforts in support of increased revenue," said Rawles. "This revised structure enables (Centenary President) Dr. Rowe to further his efforts in developing relationships, forging stronger external partnerships, and increase Centenary's overall visibility and impact."
In the role of Executive Vice President, Rawles will provide guidance and oversight for the units of the College focused primarily on revenue generation. The new position is an expansion of his previous duties as Vice President for Advancement. Rawles arrived at Centenary in 2010 with more than 25 years experience in higher-education fundraising and external relations. Prior to accepting his position at Centenary, Rawles held the position of Vice President of Strategic Planning and Advancement at Holy Spirit College in Atlanta, GA.
Associate Vice President Fred Landry
Landry will lead Centenary's Advancement Division as Associate Vice President. Bringing with him years of fundraising experience at private secondary schools, Landry has led Centenary's Philanthropy Office since 2007. Under his leadership as Senior Director of Philanthropy, Centenary recorded three of the highest fundraising benchmarks ever reached by the College. In February, Landry was named recipient of the President's Excellence Award in recognition of his leadership.
Quoting from Landry's nomination, President Rowe noted,
"Fred leads by example, works hard, and gets productive results. The sustained levels of extraordinary annual fundraising accomplished under his leadership of the philanthropy department speak to his dedication and love of Centenary."
