"As part of my on-boarding I'm reviewing data and reports as a way to familiarize myself with the college's structure," said Bearden. "I'm looking forward to collaborating with faculty and staff to enhance our institutional initiatives."

Bearden holds a PhD in engineering from Louisiana Tech University and recently completed an appointment with the National Science Foundation. In this appointment, she implemented a new portfolio management program that entailed performing data migration, analysis preparation, assessment tool identification, and the alignment of data to the division's strategic plan.

Bearden also received her MS in biomedical engineering from Louisiana Tech University and earned her BS in chemical engineering from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette. She has nearly 10 years of experience in data measurement and analysis. In her free time Bearden enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, hiking, photography, and cooking.
