"We are delighted to have Jennifer aboard," said Dr. Karen Soul, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs. "Her passion for the community and entrepreneurial spirit are attributes that will be a great fit for this position and our College. I am really looking forward to working with Jennifer."

Hill earned a BA in International Relations from the University of California at Davis; an MA in Central Asian, Russian, and East European Studies from Georgetown University; and an Executive Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania. Most recently, Jennifer served as the Development Director of the Renzi Education and Art Center in Shreveport.

In her role as Director of Educational Outreach, Hill will extend the educational mission of the College beyond the campus and undergraduate student body through programming designed to provide educational experiences or services for the broader community. She will coordinate collaborative College outreach and partnership efforts across academic departments and educational programs, establish and administer strategic educational partnerships with other institutions, and link the research, teaching, and service interests of Centenary faculty and students to both needs and opportunities within the community.

"I envision Centenary College becoming the place in Northwest Louisiana that people in the region travel to for cultural and intellectual events and discovery," said Hill. "I am really looking forward to connecting with faculty and staff on campus and learning from them how we can start to achieve some of these goals. I am lucky I get to work with the best and the brightest here at Centenary and it's why I know we can make a positive impact in Northwest Louisiana."
