First Admission Open House of year set for Saturday, January 31
SHREVEPORT, LA — Centenary's Office of Admission will host an Open House for prospective students and their families on Saturday, January 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Centenary's first Open House of the year is scheduled for Saturday, January 31 at 9:30 a.m.
"Choosing a college is all about finding the right fit, and we firmly believe that a visit to campus is the best indicator of whether a college is truly best for you," said Nora Fradin, Recruitment Coordinator. "Although we only have an afternoon to make it happen, we are confident that our guests will leave campus at the end of the day knowing Centenary and our community inside and out."
Following a campus tour and financial aid discussion, parents and students will join a learning panel overview and interactive browse on academic programs, internships, collaborative research opportunities, and study abroad opportunities such as Centenary in Paris. Centenary in Paris is an August segment in which all first-year Centenary students in fall 2015 will begin their college experience with immersive study in Paris, France.
Centenary College is giving students the opportunity to do More in Four. Through immersive segments in August and May, students will be able to earn up to 40 credit hours each year. The ability to earn more credits in a year will give students more time to spend on activities like international study, global service, original research, or getting a jump start on graduate or professional studies — all while still completing a Bachelor's degree within four years.
Visit the campus during Open House and learn why Centenary is the only Tier One National Liberal Arts College in Louisiana. High school or transfer students interested in attending can R.S.V.P. online. For more information, contact the Office of Admission at 800.234.4448 or 318.869.5131.
