Office of Admission hosts Summer Open House

SHREVEPORT, LA — Centenary's Office of Admission will host an Open House for prospective students Saturday, July 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Open HouseCurrent Centenary students serve coffee at an Open House earlier this year.

"Our Summer Open House is the perfect opportunity for prospective students and families to learn more about Centenary," said Rachel Madison, Associate Director of Admission Operations. "We have an exciting day planned, full of fun and informative events that highlight Centenary's academic programs and student life. Students will learn more about how Centenary prepares them to do more in their careers, communities, and across the globe."

Students and families will start the morning with breakfast and an informative session covering admission and financial aid before embarking on an interactive tour of Centenary's beautiful 65-acre campus in Shreveport's Highland neighborhood. During lunch, Open House visitors will learn about academic programs and student life from a panel of students and faculty members. The day concludes with an Academic Browse where visitors can ask questions and learn more about their specific areas of interest.

"I love Open Houses because I get a chance to share specifically why I chose to come to Centenary," said Head Student Ambassador Katie Chopin, an economics major and Shreveport native. "My favorite part is when I get to take prospective Ladies and Gents on a tour and show them all that this tight-knit campus has to offer!"

Centenary College is developing wise, caring, moral leaders who will help meet global challenges of the 21st century. Visit the campus during Open House and learn why Centenary is the only Tier One National Liberal Arts College in Louisiana.
