Centenary announces piano preparatory program
SHREVEPORT, LA — Centenary College's Hurley School of Music announces enrollment for the Centenary Piano Preparatory Program for 2015.

The Centenary Piano Preparatory Program offers both private lessons and class piano instruction for students ages five through 18. Students enroll for one 15-week semester at a time, and have the opportunity to participate in local piano festivals and give group recitals in the Anderson Auditorium at the College's Hurley School of Music.
Natasha Miller, a graduate of Arkhangelsk Pedagogical College in Russia and the holder of a certificate in Piano Pedagogy from Stephen F. Austin University, is the new Director of the Program. Centenary alumna Cara Lamb will also be joining the program as a new teacher. Lamb, who has been teaching privately in Shreveport for the last two years, was the holder of the Hurley School of Music's highest honor, the Mary C. White Scholarship, and was the winner of the 2012 Monroe Symphony League Emerging Artists competition.
Lessons begin on August 24, 2015, with tuition ranging from $150 per semester for class lessons to $375 for private half-hour lessons and $700 for private hour lessons. Deposits of $25 are due by August 12, 2015, and can be sent to Centenary Piano Prep at the Hurley School of Music, 2911 Centenary Boulevard, Shreveport 71104.
