Centenary Choir to perform October 25 at Broadmoor UMC

SHREVEPORT, LA — The Centenary College Choir will perform for the Shreveport United Methodist District Wide Service on Sunday, October 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Broadmoor United Methodist Church.

The Shreveport District of the United Methodist Church is hosting the festival worship service to celebrate the work of more than 100 churches across its purview. The service provides an opportunity for churches to ratify their efforts in a unique way, called "worshipful work" by District Superintendent Revered Ken Irby.

Exploring the theme, "Now is the Time!," Dr. David Hobson and the Centenary College Choir will provide several uplifting anthems and bolster congregational singing accompanied by professional brass and organist E. Ray Peebles. While the service anchors an afternoon of training and celebration of the church delegates, the District welcomes any guests wishing to add their voice to the service and support the work of the United Methodist Church.
