Centenary Office of Admission plans Dallas Open House

Dallas Open House

SHREVEPORT, LA — Centenary College of Louisiana's Office of Admission will host a Centenary Open House in Dallas for prospective students on Wednesday, November 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pappadeaux's Seafood Kitchen, located at 18349 Dallas Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75287.

"We know that there are many DFW Metroplex students who are prepared to excel at Centenary but who might not have the immediate opportunity to visit our campus, so we bring Centenary to Dallas," said Vjosa Alidema, Associate Director of Admission. "Our students, faculty, and staff get the chance to share a taste of what it's like to be a Centenary Lady or Gent with prospective students and their families."

Located in Shreveport, LA, Centenary College is a U.S. News & World Report Tier One National Liberal Arts College, a member of the Princeton Reviews "Best 380 Colleges," and was recently recognized as one of Forbes' "Best Colleges in the South."

"I chose Centenary for the small classes and the close relationships that I knew I'd be able to form with my professors," said Grant Miller, a freshman at Centenary and 2014 graduate of Dallas Academy. "I also liked the fact that it was fairly close to home. A degree from Centenary means a lot, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this community."

Centenary faculty, administrators, current students, and athletic staff will be on hand at the Open House to answer questions from prospective students and families. Participants will also enjoy an overview of the Centenary in Paris immersive experience from faculty and student participants. Admission staff will also offer guidance about the admission process and financial aid opportunities.

High school or transfer students interested in attending can R.S.V.P. online. Students who bring transcripts, standardized test scores, a recommendation letter, and who meet the qualifications for admission, may be admitted to Centenary on the day of the Open House.
